I spent the day improving my personal email-based AI Agent. Fun!
What does it do? It sends me emails with reminders, todos, and I can ask it to research stuff for me or help with projects and motivation!
(Btw, Google is building something similar at the moment. Watch out for "CC" for Gmail).
Here are a few reasons why I think building your own is beneficial:
- You have to understand the architecture of the agent, which teaches you a lot about data pipelines, system prompts and context engineering.
- You can really personalize the experience and put together a tool that is super useful for your special use cases. No generalized stuff. Just made to measure for you.
- You can easily experiment with different AI models, understanding their differences, advantages and limits.
If you want to learn more about how to do this, then feel free to subscribe to my Explorer or Pioneer subscriptions to get my howtos, code and tutorials.
You can also book a free 15-minute discovery call to map out how I might be of help for you and your organization (I have worked for the CEO of Deutsche Telekom, Volkswagen Group Culture and their R&D Department as well as for the CEO of SES Spar European Shopping Centers. You are in good company)
